This is for you Noah.
Today i feel like writing about verisimilitude. It is the feeling of realism in something that is fiction. This strategy is used well by many authors, I recently have thought of writing a piece of this nature. An example is the story Life of Pi, this sense of verisimilitude is created by the reporter regurgitating the story that is told by another person. Although the entire story is fiction it creates a sense of realism. Does anyone else have any other examples of this that they would care to share with me. So since this post was not funny yet I suppose i must add something to make you smile. Noah, how do we roll? Ball hockey tomorrow? You know it. After school at the lacrosse box.

Critics corner
My weekend was much like any other, I visited the Rogers video to rent a movie. The only difference was I was unable to find the movie that I was looking for. This was the fifth video store that had said; "sorry sir, we do not carry that title. This disappointment made me travel across town to the blockbuster video to inquire about the movie there. Same result different reason; "sorry sir, due to the subject matter of the movie we are unable to stock it in our stores." All I could do was sigh and leave, through the same door as all of the happy customers. Seven rental facilities and not one of them carried this movie. The movie in question is a documentary from the makes of The Aristocrats and Idiocracy(both are must see movies.) It was quite a disappointment not only to find that the movies were unavailable at that moment but that the stores had not even heard of the movie. With my new grime outlook on the movie industry all I can say is; "what is the deal?" They seem to have 100 copies of the new movie staring Joe Action in a crime drama. This movie of course features Joe's stunt double more often that Joe himself. This abundance of crappy movies and they can not have 1 copy of the movie that I would like to see, a movie that many people would see if it was available. The reason for this is that the movie cost less than a million dollars to shoot, small budget films are not allowed to make big money. It is only a matter of time before the executives of these large film companies realize that these box office blunders are horrible for a reason, they SUCK. I would much rather spend my ten dollars watching a movie that makes me think about more than if it is possible to really hit someones head off with a baseball bat.I guess we will just have to be patient and wait for the billionaires to realize that the same old story is not entertaining. Oh what a glorious day that would be.
